Tuesday 18th of March 2014 at 17:00h, 15 computer science students at the UNED interested in the Computer Vision Center (CVC) activity came to visit our institution.
Dr. David Rotger, knowledge transfer manager, showed them a presentation regarding our center and computer vision in general. He also talked in more detail about some representative R&D projects developed in the CVC to give a vision of the baste range of fields that this technology can cover and to show the center’s ability to developed both research and development projects.
Right after the presentation, Dr. Josep Lladós, CVC director, joined them trough a visit around the center where technicians and researchers showed some demonstrations and examples of the work that they are doing in the CVC. The UNED students were able to ask questions and share opinions, creating a very close and fruitful discussion environment.
