Joseph Lladós Canet, Computer Vision Centre
Albert Esteve Palo, Center for Demographic Studies
The project intends to develop instruments and procedures that facilitate massive computerization of demographic sources of the past, focused on building databases for public use and to improve the consultation of document files. Researchers in computer vision together with researchers in historical demography will facilitate the construction of analytical tools to generate pedigrees and establish individual family trajectories. The project will encourage public participation in the construction and validation of data banks.
