The European Researchers’ Night is an international event that takes place every year at the same time in many European cities. The main aim of the event is to bring researchers closer to the public and give every citizen the opportunity to actively participate in science.
This European Researchers’ Night project is funded by the European Commission under HORIZON 2020 in the framework of the Marie Sklodowska Curie actions.
In 2019, the event will take place on Friday, 27 September and the Computer Vision Center will take part in two different activities in Barcelona. On the one hand, our PhD student Arnau Baró will give the microtalk “Teaching computers to read music scores” at 18:00 h at the Centre Civic Urgell. On the other hand, we will collaborate with the Demographic Studies Center (CED) in a workshop on XARXES project at 19:15 h at the UB’s historic building.
