REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

In order to include the paper in the proceedings, at least one author of each paper must complete the registration form by May 15. Student participants that will be presenting more than one paper in the conference are required to pay the regular registration fee (not student fee). According to IAPR's policy, should an author have more than one paper accepted, only one registration is required for publication although other authors are encouraged to register and participate in the conference.

Each paper (oral or poster) must be presented by an author at the conference. Failure to present a paper during the conference will likely result in withdrawal of the paper from the IEEE digital library.

Please note that by submitting a paper to ICDAR 2009 you confirm that you and your co-authors commit to the IAPR code of ethics.

Visa Information: Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to attend the conference may e-mail to the ICDAR2009 Secretariat (icdar2009@ultramarevents.com). This procedure is designed to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the conference, but does not cover registration fees or other expenses. The invitation does not imply provision of financial or other support. If you don't receive a confirmation of your request within a week, re-send your inquiry immediately. REGISTRATION TO THE MAIN CONFERENCE

The registration fee (both regular and student) includes admission to the main conference, coffee-breaks, lunch during conference, USB proceedings, dinner banquet and welcome reception. All prices mentioned in this web-site are in euro. Please check the Currency Conversion link.

* Student Registration: A letter of verification from the department chair must accompany student registration. Any registration received without a verification letter will not be processed. Copies of student identification cards are not acceptable.

** Printed Proceedings: In addition to the official proceedings of the conference which will be in electronic form (USB memory, included in the registration fee), interested participants can order a printed version of the proceedings that will be produced in black and white and in 3 volumes (one for each day of the conference)

*** Companion Person Registration: The fee includes Conference Banquet, Social Event and Welcome Reception.

REGISTRATION TO WORKSHOPS

The registration to workshops: CBDAR2009, MOCR2009 and AND2009 will be processed with the same ICDAR 2009 registration form. But for registering to GREC 2009 please go directly to the workshop site.
