ARRIVING IN BARCELONA

Barcelona has a major international airport, with flights coming from Europe, America and the rest of the world.

There are also airports in Girona and Reus with bus links to Barcelona. Over the past few years, a number of low cost airlines have begun flying to these three destinations from across Europe.

Barcelona can also be reached by boat. You can check here the different routes.

You can also come to Barcelona by train, using the National Spanish Railway Network (RENFE).

The Barcelona airport is the major international airport, about 18km from the city center.

From Barcelona Airport to the Campus UAB

Barcelona's ell Part Airport is approximately 30 kilometres from the UAB campus, in which the ICDAR conference will be held.

Airbus (A1 to T1 and A2 to T2)

Airport - Plaza de Catalunya.

Stops: Opposite terminals A, B (Arrivals) and C.

Timetable: Monday to Saturday and public holidays: departures from airport, from 06:05 to 01:05; departures from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 00:30. Price: Single trip: 5 Euro (A1) / 4.25 Euro (A2). Return trip: 8.65 Euro (A1) / 7.30 (A2).

Renfe Line 2: The Line 2 suburban train links the airport with the city centre and the Sants and França train stations.

Itinerary: Airport - Estació de França

Stops: Airport - El Prat de Llobregat - Bellvitge - Barcelona Sants - Paseo de Gracia - Estació de França

Journey duration: 20-30 minutes.

Timetable: From the airport, from 06:00 to 23:44; from Estació de França, from 05:20 to 22:42. Every 30 minutes. We reccomend you to visit the web site Renfe Cercanías (Rodalies).

Price: Single, 1.35 Euro; Bonotren (10 journeys), 7.70 Euro. Aeroport station falls within the integrated fare system (zone 1) of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
