The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
 The
conference will take place in the Universitat
Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), its main campus with its multiplicity
of research, teaching, service and cultural facilities covers 260
ha. and is located in the very heart of the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan
Area in Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès), close to the city of
Sabadell and about 20 km. from Barcelona, in the most important
location of technological development in Catalonia. It has good
connections with Barcelona by train with two different lines and
by car with two different highways. Barcelona is an important and
modern city with an international airport and connections to the
rest of Europe by plane, train, road and ship. The Universitat Autònoma
de Barcelona (UAB) is a young, modern academic institution whose
high standards of teaching and research have made it one of the
foremost academic centres in the higher education sector. More than
40,000 people coexist on the UAB campus and enjoy amenities that
allow them access to all the services necessary for studying and
living in a good environment.
The Convention Center Serhs
Hotel Campus

will take place in the Convention Center
Hotel Serhs Campus. It is a 4 star hotel located in the same
UAB campus that has special prices for events organized by the academic
community. In addition, the accommodation facilities of the campus
(the Serhs Hotel and also student apartments) would allow delegates
to be accommodated at walking distance of the Conference venue with
less expensive rates than Barcelona downtown. However, some hotels
in Barcelona downtown and shuttle services will be offered as alternative.

The hotel offers nine function
rooms which are fully-equipped with audiovisual resources and everything
needed for congresses, meetings and conventions for both small or
large groups, with a capacity of up to 650 people.
The hotel offers 104 comfortable
and fully-equipped rooms. The Hotel Serhs Campus offers its customers
a wide range of gastronomic options with the aim of catering for
all your requirements. The Arc's restaurant, offers a gastronomic
menu (using high quality ingredients) or an à la carte service
(offering a wide range of dishes). In the Sirius restaurant you
will find a fast, efficient service which is excellent value for
money. And in Larissa and Orió coffee bars you can enjoy
a wide variety of sandwiches and a pleasant environment where to
have your snacks.
