The main objective is to develop and interventional planning guide system able to assure the correct location of dental implants into the maxillary bone during the intervention.
First of all it is necessary to obtain stents that will work as a guide during the perforation of the maxillary bone where the implants are going to be placed. That is why a TAC of the teeth region and a TAC of the splint are done. Once this data is obtained, the virtual positioning of each tooth can be planned. Using the TAC and the implants position, the stents which will be the guide to get the planned results on the TAC is fabricated.
The project focuses on the visualization, planning and numerical results generation using software.
