Registration and fees

Enrolment deadline: November 1st, 2009

The Winter School is now OVERBOOKED. We will be receiving registrations until the deadline of 1st November, but newly registered people will be placed on a waiting list. Please DO NOT make any travel arrangements or payment to the school unless you receive a confirmation from our administration that you have been offered a place in the School. Thanks in advance for your interest!

Registration fees: 400Eu per student. (optional +35Eu Banquet Dinner on Wednesday 25th)

The registration fees include:

1.- Enrolment into all the lectures and practical sessions.
2..- Access to the afternoon open sessions with the eye-tracker devices.
3.- School material (printed material, presentation slides and software)
4.- Coffee breaks and lunch for the 4 days of the school.

All the requests for enrolment must be submitted before the enrolment deadline through the registration form. (CLOSED)

Please Note that the registration fees do not include accommodation. Accommodation should be personally managed by the participants in the school. However, the School suggests a list of accommodation places to the participants, which can be consulted here.

Financial help is available in the following formats:

OPEN CALLS

¤ A) SMI Travel Stipends. SensoMotoric Instrumens (SMI) will provide 2 stipends of 200Eu each to cover the travel expenses of two students. If you are interested in applying for one of these grants you will have to: 1) Register and pay the regular registration fee, and 2) send us a written justification explaining us your case to wsetm2009@cvc.uab.es . The Scientific Committee of WSETM will give priority to cases of students from developing countries, students in the first stages of their research career with difficulties in securing financial support, as well as other particular cases. The Scientific Committee will announce their decision about the grants by 1st November.

¤ B) SEPEX Stipends. SEPEX (The Sociedad Española de Psicologia Experimental) will refund €300 Euro of the registration costs to up to THREE registered participants of the school that are members of the society. This scheme is run internally by SEPEX, if you are a member of the society you should have already received information about how to apply for these stipends. To be eligible for this offer you should be registered to the school. These stipends are available to both already registered participants or newly registered participants as long as there are still places in the school. Communicate directly with SEPEX for information about how to apply for these stipends.

¤ C) SMI Customers. SMI announced that they will refund 25% of the registration fees to any of their customers that register to the Winter School. This offer is available to both already registered participants or newly registered participants as long as there are still places in the school. To be eligible for this offer, you have to normally register for the school and pay your full registration fees. You should then contact SMI directly claiming the above refund. Direct your claims to Christian Lappe at Christian.Lappe@SMI.DE clearly indicating your WSETM registration ID number.
