Three students 'Premi Extraordinari de Batxillerat' choose CVC to undertake a short internship
Every year, Generalitat of Catalonia awards those students who performed the best during their baccalaureate studies with an official merit prize, known as 'Premi Extraordinari de Batxillerat'. The award recognizes the winners with different special treats. Among them, the awarded students can undertake a short internship in a research center or institution of their interest.
Irene Llobera Querol, Pere Mateu Raventós, and Miquel Sadurní i Martínez, winners of the academic year 2020-2021 'Premi Extraordinari de Batxillerat', chose the Computer Vision Center (CVC) to undertake their research internship coordinated by the Catalan Association of Research Centres (ACER).
During their week-stay (July 11-15, 2022), our awarded students went through inspiring talks, workshops and presentations exploring the immense possibilities of the Computer Vision field. The students engaged with several CVC researchers, as well as with our Innovation Unit, the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Team, the Research Projects Office, Administration and Communications and Marketing Team.
It was a very enriching experience for both of us, the students and CVC. Our research center is looking forward to engaging in opportunities like this in the upcoming years.
