The Computer Vision Center at ISE 2024

The Computer Vision Center attends Integrated Systems Europe 2024, thanks to the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, highlighting its latest Computer Vision technologies for the audiovisual industry.

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is the world’s leading audiovisual and systems integration exhibition. This year, the event took place from January 31 to February 2 at Fira de Barcelona. It was attended by more than 70,000 in-person attendees and +1000 exhibitors from +160 different countries to find synergies and establish new partnerships.

During the exhibition, the CVC stand received visits from different personalities and politicians, such as the Minister of the Government of Catalonia for Business and Labor, Roger Torrent i Ramió; and the Secretary for Enterprise and Competitiveness of the Department of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia, Albert Castellanos. Besides, at the venue, many companies, institutions and professionals approached the stand during the congress showing interest in CVC's work, among them, delegations from different countries coordinated by ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government's agency for business competitiveness.

CVC aims to develop computer vision solutions to address different industrial challenges. At our booth, we presented several research projects and computer vision capabilities applied to the audiovisual industry .

➡ During the event, our senior researcher, Dr Javier Vázquez, and our technology transfer manager, Fátima Itzel López; presented CVC's research on computational color and its applications in the audiovisual sector as part of the session 'What's New: Trends and News,' organized by the Catalan Audiovisual Cluster.

All in all, CVC had the opportunity to present its research to a high number of professionals. After three days of intense work and networking exploring the added value of technology for the audiovisual industry, the CVC team came back with a good impression and plenty of new contacts to be worked on from now on.
