CVC is trained to enhance its Commitment to Gender Equality in Science
At the Computer Vision Center (CVC), we are committed to promoting gender equality in science. Recently, four of our team members participated in the training "Mainstreaming Gender Perspective in Science" organized by the Department of Research and Universities of Catalonia.
Eva Caballero Caballero, Enric Sala Esteva, Adrià Molina, and Claire Perez-Mangado Lambion, representing the CVC's equality committee and the workers' committee, attended this insightful event, which is part of the Gender Equality Strategy in Science (EIGEC).
The training emphasized the importance of incorporating gender perspectives in scientific research and institutional practices. By attending such events, we aim to foster an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive and contribute to the advancement of science.
We believe that diversity and equality are essential for innovation and excellence. CVC is dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote gender equality and create a more balanced and equitable scientific community.
