We have been looking forward to this moment, and we are excited to finally share it with the world: CVC has a brand-new look!

As we celebrate CVC's 30th anniversary in 2025, we have taken the opportunity to reflect on how far we have come and, more importantly, to look ahead to where we are going. It felt like the perfect time to refresh our image and better express who we are today and who we want to become.

Our goal was clear: to create a brand identity that reflects our core values of innovation, excellence, and impact, while feeling modern, technological, and adaptable. The result is a clean, versatile logo with a bold, dynamic feel that works seamlessly across all platforms and fits today’s digital and hybrid world.

But it’s more than just a logo. The new identity comes with a complete visual system inspired by computer vision and innovation, designed to bring clarity, consistency, and personality to everything we do. A toolkit for recognisable and engaging communication across all audiences.

Imaging Knowledge

With this new look, we are also bringing back a motto that’s been part of our journey for years. One that captures the spirit and evolution of CVC: Imaging Knowledge.

It’s a phrase that plays on two meanings of imaging: images as the foundation of our research, and imagination as a driving creative force. It reflects our mission: to turn imagination into knowledge, and through that knowledge, create real, meaningful impact for society.

This new identity is a natural evolution that reflects who we are today: a research centre with a strong history of research and innovation in Catalonia and a clear international vision.

With this change, we aim to communicate more clearly and consistently, reaffirming our commitment to cutting-edge computer vision research and its positive impact on the world.
