Deep Learning Barcelona Symposium brings together more than 345 participants in its 7th edition
The 7th edition of the Deep Learning Barcelona Symposium (DLBCN2025) took place yesterday, 17 December, at CosmoCaixa, consolidating its role as one of the key annual meeting points for the artificial intelligence and machine learning community in Barcelona. This year’s edition gathered more than 345 participants, once again filling the venue. All free tickets were booked within 45 minutes, highlighting the strong engagement and interest of the community.
The symposium opened with remarks by Javier Selva, Director General of Transferència i Societat del Coneixement at the Generalitat de Catalunya, and was co‑chaired by Professor Petia Radeva. Their participation reinforced the relevance of DLBCN as a reference event in the field of deep learning.
For the first time, DLBCN joined the ELLIS Pre‑NeurIPS Fest. Although this edition took place after NeurIPS, the symposium aligned with this broader European initiative, strengthening ties with the international research ecosystem.
The organisation, in which CVC is taking part, extends its appreciation to all sponsors for their support in ensuring that DLBCN remains a free and accessible event for the entire community.
Researchers from Computer Vision Center (CVC) played an active role throughout the day. Danna Xue delivered an oral presentation titled “HyperNVD: Accelerating Neural Video Decomposition via Hypernetworks”. Additionally, poster sessions included contributions by Diego Porres, Ayan Banerjee, Alexandra Gomez-Villa, Javier Vazquez-Corral, Artemis Llabrés, Marc Serra Ortega, Danna Xue, Eric Lopez and Gerard Asbert Marcos, showcasing current research developed at our centre.
