New edition of the AI4ALL programme to support entrepreneurial projects in the artificial intelligence sector
Registration is now open for the eighth edition of the AI4ALL programme, which aims to foster the creation of entrepreneurial projects based on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. It is run by the UAB Research Park, the Centre for Computer Vision, the UAB School of Engineering, and the CSIC Institute for Research in Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial intelligence has firmly established itself as one of the most disruptive technologies, having a significant impact on the economic and social landscape. How can it be applied to your projects? What business opportunities does it offer? To address these questions, AI4ALL is back with a new edition, offering specialised training to promote the development of technology and entrepreneurial projects in the field of AI.
After seven successful editions, AI4ALL has become a leading initiative in promoting technological entrepreneurship in artificial intelligence in Catalonia. This new edition will offer specialised training for a variety of participants, including entrepreneurs looking to incorporate AI into their projects, as well as researchers, PhD students and engineering professionals with technical skills and prior experience.
The programme combines theoretical and practical learning to equip participants with the skills to use artificial intelligence technologies to address social and market challenges. The 120-hour training programme comprises face-to-face and online sessions, prototyping activities, one-to-one mentoring and presentations by industry experts, who will share real-world use cases.
From 4 June until the end of December, participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop AI-based entrepreneurial projects, receiving support from technology experts and mentors specialising in business models. The programme will culminate in a final demo day, where the teams will present their proposals to representatives from companies, institutions, and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. The project deemed to be the most outstanding will gain direct access to the AI Accelerator, an acceleration programme promoted by the Digital Catalonia Alliance and the RDI-IA Network.
AI4ALL is supported by the Department of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia and is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus. It also receives support from the RDI-IA Network, which unites leading organisations from the Catalan artificial intelligence research and innovation sector.
Detailed information on the programme content, schedule, and registration process can be found on the official website: www.ai4all.cat. Registration is open until 28 May.
