Eighteenth CVC Workshop on Computer Vision Trends and Challenges
Computer Vision Center, 14th July 2023
Welcome to the 18th CVC Workshop on Computer Vision Trends and Challenges! CVCRD allow the presentation of the current state of the art of the students’ research and the analysis of the proposals for close future lines of work. All of this will be aligned with the yearly follow-up event for the PhD students. The Workshop will be an exhibition of the CVC research capabilities and it will also show different research and technological transfer projects.
Workshop format
The program will be organized in a half-day workshop. It will comprise different oral sessions with five-minute presentations dedicated to several research topics related to computer vision. An informal poster session will be also held during coffee breaks. This is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to share their work with the CVC community and to receive valuable feedback. In addition, we will have a CVCRD quiz & special awards!

The abstract submission is mandatory for all PhD students.
In addition, PhD students will introduce their work to the audience in short oral presentations. Exceptions: oral presentation is optional for those PhD students who will defend their thesis in the following months and for those who have just started their thesis.
Furthermore, the submission is open to (1) CVC spin-offs, which could present their main research and applications; (2) Technology Transfer & Innovation Unit staff; (3) interns and (4) rest of the researchers of CVC who may present novel ideas or challenges.
Of course! What is more, we encourage you to reuse your conference posters, especially if you have already printed them.
If you don’t have any other conference posters to recycle, you can use the template in the author kit to prepare yours.
You can find all CVCRD templates (abstract, slides and poster) here 🡲 Author’s Kit
Oral presentations will take place in person at CVC. However, in justified cases, they could be held online.
If this is the case, please, let us know at press@cvc.uab.cat
