The CVC Workshop on Computer Vision Trends and Challenges (CVCRD) is an annual event in which students at CVC present the state-of-the-art of their research, as well as their future lines of work. CVCRD is the most relevant internal event at CVC and an excellent opportunity for young researchers to share new ideas and knowledge about their work in progress, and also, to discuss challenges and future perspectives. In addition, the workshop is a welcome event for those who have recently joined the center.
The CVCRD program is usually organized in a single-track single-day workshop. It comprises several sessions dedicated to specific topics. Session topics cover the current research lines and development projects of CVC: document analysis, implicit neural representation, continual learning, domain adaptation, autonomous driving, generative model, transfer learning, super-resolution, semantic segmentation, efficient networks, multimedia edition, food & activity recognition and so on.
In addition, the event is open to presentations by visiting students, internships, and research engineers from the innovation unit, and presentations of current CVC projects. All the contributions show that CVC has a dynamic, active, and promising scientific community.
After the event, we celebrate our annual Summer Party, where all the CVC team gather to have lunch and enjoy several group activities.
