CVC is a non-profit research centre with its own legal personality. It is attached to the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB).

This Legal Notice governs access to and use of the website at www.cvc.uab.es and the subdomain www.workshops.cvc.uab.es (together, the “Website”), which CVC makes available to internet users. - In accordance with CVC’s anti-spam policy, the User undertakes not to use or collect data from distribution lists accessible through the Website in order to carry out promotional or advertising activities, nor to send commercial communications of any kind, by any means, without CVC’s and/or the recipients prior request or consent.
Any User who, intentionally or negligently, breaches any of the above obligations will be liable for all resulting loss and damage.
WEB REGISTRATION AND PASSWORDS
In general, access to the Websites services and content does not require prior subscription or registration. However, CVC may make certain services conditional upon the User completing the relevant registration process and choosing an identifier (ID or login) and password, which the User undertakes to keep secure and to use diligently.

- Some services and content offered by CVC may require prior contracting and payment of a fee, as set out in the applicable general contracting conditions, which will be made available to the User in a clear manner.
- Where the User must register or provide personal data to access any services, the collection and processing of personal data will be governed by the PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA section of this Legal Notice and, where applicable, by any specific registration terms.
- Minors are not permitted to contract products or services through this Website without the prior consent of their parents, guardians or legal representatives, who will be deemed responsible for the acts carried out by minors in their care.
LIMITATION OF GUARANTEES AND LIABILITIES
CVC will use reasonable efforts to prevent errors in the content that appears on the Website.
