Computer vision tests in public areas:
CVC conducts computer vision research projects which may involve capturing images where individuals are incidentally identifiable.
Following data minimization principles, all identifiable data of individuals is anonymized to ensure that CVC does not store personal data inadvertently captured. This practice applies to all projects involving public space recordings unless otherwise specified, in which case individuals are specifically notified.

In addition to the above, CVC may carry out other personal data processing activities. In such cases, the individual will receive the necessary information, and CVC will request consent if required.
How long will CVC keep the data?
Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to address any potential liabilities arising from that purpose and data processing. This means that CVC will keep personal data for the duration of the relationship with us and, if applicable, for the period required to file, exercise, or defend any possible claims, or to comply with legal obligations as defined by applicable law.
For candidates who submit their applications for selection processes, their data will be retained for a maximum of 1 year if they have not been accepted into any selection process during that period or if the candidate has not given their consent for longer retention.
For candidates interested in participating in internship programs, their data will be retained for a maximum of 1 year if they have not been admitted into the program within that period or if the candidate has not provided their consent for extended retention.
For data collected by third parties, such as Google and Mailchimp, their retention will be governed by the terms outlined in their respective privacy policies and the persistence of cookies as noted in our Cookie Policy.
Once this period has expired, CVC commits to cease processing all personal data and to destroy, block, or anonymize it to the extent possible for the purpose for which it was retained.
To which third parties will the data be communicated?
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless it is necessary to respond to a request, required by law, or if the data subject has given their consent.

What are the rights of the data subjects when they provide us with their data?

In the case of representation, proof of representation must be provided through a written document and a copy of the representative's ID or an equivalent document to verify their representation.
In addition to the above rights, the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time through the procedure described above, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing before the consent was withdrawn.
