Governance and technology: Imaging law

Fields and practices of law are changing fast. Citizens require a greater participation, and faster and more effective ways of facing their legal activities: less lawyering, less judging, more dialogue, more participation, more flexibility and autonomy…in a safe environment.  At the UAB Institute of Law and Technology, we try to comply with such requirements. Some of our projects are focused on images, multimedia and the law. Our presentation will cover these aspects which present new regulatory challenges for democratic societies, transitional justice and developing countries.
