Introduction to Android Programming and OpenCV for Android

Description: In this two-hour technical forum we will cover the basic concepts of Android development. After a short introduction to the development environment and key concepts such as intents, services and the android emulator we will show the different ways to use the OpenCV libraries in the Android environment (SDK and NDK). The content is aimed to attendants with no previous experience with the Android platform, although basic knowledge of Java and the OpenCV libraries for other platforms would be useful.
