I will briefly present an overview of the theoretical and applied aspects of the IVS group research in 2D and 3D computer Vision. I will present a concise description of past and current projects run within the Intelligent Vision System lab of the Department of Computer Science in 3D computer Vision. The presentation will include applications in multimedia, biometrics, 3D hand sculpting applications based on our work in stereo-vision including videos and online demos. Time depending, I will also describe our Environmental Sciences projects which make the best of Theoretical and applied Computer Vision to support prediction and control of contaminants in soils.
