The Computer Vision Center participates in the DT4REGIONS Conference
The DT4REGIONS EU project hold a a flagship event in Barcelona on June 28-29. Computer Vision Center (CVC) is participating in this project as member of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), and lider of the action oriented task force for the social impact of Artificial Intelligence. The event was an occasion to present the first release of the DT4REGIONS Platform which aims to discover innovative solutions for the development of the next era of AI & Big Data for the digital transformation of public administrations in Europe.
CVC contributed to the conference in different ways. First of all, our CVC team helped in the organization of the Conference. Secondly, Dr Fernando Vilariño, our Associate Directos, moderated two sessions: a debate on the social impact of AI, "An acceptable AI for, with and by the citizens: A horizon of potential actions from DT4Regions", and finally, Dr Antonio López, CVC researcher, participated as a speaker in a workshop that looked into integrating AI into Digital Twins, "The City as a physical and digital living lab".
