INVESTIGO | Post-doc researcher position to join Autonomous Driving Group

We offer:

1 post-doc researcher position to join Autonomous Driving Group

Main responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work on new research projects of the group focusing on topics related to perception-based autonomous driving powered by Machine learning: sim-to-real domain adaptation, semi-supervised learning, self-supervised learning, imitation learning, etc.

● Perform research on Machine learning procedures and models to enable perception-based autonomous driving.
● Co-supervise PhD and/or MSc students on relevant topics.
● Prepare project reports on research progress.
● Produce high-impact scientific publications and present work in International forums.

Requirements:

▶ Education: PhD degree on a topic for which Machine learning has been intensively used
▶ Essential knowledge and professional experience:
● Experience in training and testing deep models for computer vision tasks
● Fluency in English

▶ Competences: Be a motivated, dynamic person with high communication capacities

▶ Be over 16 years old and under 30 years old.
▶ Candidates cannot have been linked to the Institution through a contractual relationship in the last 6 months prior to the start of the contract.

Conditions:

● The place of work will be at Computer Vision Center, at the UAB Campus (Cerdanyola del Vallès)
● We offer a full-time contract (37,5 hours per week)
● Duration: 24 months
● Starting date: before September 1st 2023
● The annual gross remuneration will be determined based on the Programme’s Call
