Research area or group: MultiSpectral Image Analysis and Understanding Research Group (MSIAU)

The MSIAU group seeks applications to fill two research collaborator positions to participate in a strategic project based on the results of their research. They will work on projects related to the AgroFood industry. Since the methods to be applied are related to the methods studied in the Master in Computer Vision, there is the possibility to use part of the work done during this job contract for your master's dissertation.

Note that this is a temporary collaboration. The candidate will work for the project until December 31, 2023

Main responsibilities:

● Datasets acquisition and annotation
● Implementation and training of image processing pipelines to perform 2D image segmentation and 3D structure reconstruction
● Performance analysis of developed systems

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree
● Python programming experience
● Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning frameworks desirable (opencv, sklearn, kera, pytorch,…)

Conditions:

The position will be located at Computer Vision Centre (Campus Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)

● Full-time contract (37.5h/week) temporary contract, a good environment, flexible working hour
● Duration: 2 months
● Salary in accordance with qualifications and experience of the candidate and to CVC's salary regulations
● Possibility of partial remote work
● Opportunity to use part of the work developed in a final master thesis
● Starting date: November 02, 2023

The Computer Vision Center (CVC) is a non-profit research center established in 1995 by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
