CCSC 2021

The 8th edition of the Congress on Social Communication of Science (CCSC 2021) will be held at CosmoCaixa Barcelona from September 29 to October 1. This congress brings together professionals in the field of dissemination and social communication of science and has become the largest space in Spanish for debate and updating of scientific communication work developed by professionals and institutions from different fields such as journalism, institutional communication, social research, dissemination and popularization of scientific culture.

In this year’s edition, the CVC Communications & Marketing team will be presenting three projects: ExperimentAI, XARXES and the citizen dialogues series “AI, Ethics and Citizen Participation”.

Schedule:

Thursday 30th September

  • “ExperimentAI: a citizen experimentation project focused on artificial intelligence” (from 11:30 to 12:30pm at Sala Beta)
  • Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Citizen Participation (from 16:30 to 17:30 at Sala Alfa)
  • XARXES: Citizen Science to build the “historical Facebook” of Catalonia.
